Product Description

The global beer market is rapidly shifting toward canned beer due to its convenience, portability, and extended shelf life. Whether you’re a craft brewery or a large-scale beer producer, investing in a reliable beer can filling machine is essential to ensure consistency, hygiene, and production efficiency.
A modern beer canning line integrates filling, capping (seaming), and optional auxiliary equipment such as depalletizers, pasteurizers, and date coders. By automating the process, breweries can reduce labor costs, minimize oxygen pickup, and guarantee product freshness — all while maintaining high output.
At PESTOPACK, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art beer can filling machines that are easy to operate, durable, and tailored to your specific production needs.
A beer can filling machine is specialized equipment designed to fill carbonated beverages — primarily beer — into cans such as aluminum cans, tinplate cans, or PET plastic cans.
Our filling machines adopt the equal liquid level filling principle, ensuring that every can is filled to the same precise level. Depending on production needs, they can handle both normal temperature filling and high temperature filling, with optional steam injection mechanisms to reduce oxygen exposure and extend shelf life.
This machine is widely used in:
Breweries (craft beer, industrial beer)
Soft drink and soda factories
Energy drink and sparkling water production
RTD cocktails and cider packaging
The working process of the PESTOPACK beer can filling machine can be divided into several stages:
1. Can Infeed
Empty cans are fed into the system using a variable pitch screw and transferred to the rotary dial.
The can is guided into the holder, perfectly aligned with the filling valve.
2. Can Lifting and Sealing
A lifting cam raises the can so its mouth seals tightly against the filling valve.
This airtight seal ensures accurate filling and prevents leaks.
3. Filling Process
Once sealed, the filling valve opens, and liquid flows into the can under equal pressure.
Optional CO₂ or steam injection reduces oxygen, ensuring product freshness and extended shelf life.
4. Valve Closing and Can Lowering
After reaching the desired fill level, the valve closes.
The can is lowered and transferred to the seaming station.
5. Can Seaming (Capping)
The lid is supplied by a cover feeder and divider.
The can is raised to meet the lid, and the seaming rollers apply double-seam sealing for airtight closure.
6. Discharge
Sealed cans are transferred to the conveyor for date coding, pasteurization, and final packaging.
➡️ This continuous, automated process ensures high efficiency, minimal oxygen pickup, and stable product quality.
PESTOPACK machines are designed with breweries’ practical needs in mind. Key features include:

Technical Parameters of Beer Can Filling Machine
Model | Capacity (CPH) | Can Size (mm) | Power (kW) | Dimensions (mm) | Weight (kg) |
18-4 | 9,000 | Ø50–80, H80–150 | 5 | 2900×1850×1900 | 3500 |
24-6 | 12,000 | Ø50–80, H80–170 | 6.5 | 3500×2100×1900 | 4200 |
36-8 | 18,000 | Ø50–90, H90–180 | 9 | 4200×2400×2100 | 5000 |
Tip: For craft breweries, smaller models (18-4) are often ideal, while larger breweries may opt for the 36-8 model for higher output.
To form a complete beer canning line, several auxiliary machines are typically included:
Depalletizer – Automatically unloads empty cans from pallets.
Can Rinsing Machine – Removes dust and impurities before filling.
Date Printer – Inkjet or laser printer for batch codes and expiry dates.
Pasteurizer Tunnel – Ensures product stability for beer and juice.
Conveyor System – Transfers cans smoothly between processes.
Shrink Wrapper / Carton Packer – Packs cans for transport and sale.
PESTOPACK provides turnkey beer can filling lines, from depalletizer to final packaging.
