Fabric softeners are a blend of water, conditioning agents, fragrances, and functional additives such as emulsifiers, dispersants, pH adjusters, preservatives, and colorants. These components work together to soften fabrics, reduce static cling, and leave a pleasant fragrance after the rinse cycle.
Typically, fabric softeners have a viscosity range of 100–1000 cP at room temperature (20–25°C / 68–77°F). This viscosity allows the product to pour smoothly into bottles while still adhering effectively to fabrics.
